Travel to and in Rochester

Located just off I-90, travel to and around Rochester is not difficult.  Rochester is served by 6 airlines, Amtrak and Greyhound, and offers robust Uber and Lyft services.

Driving Directions

Visitors arriving from the east on I-90 will take exit 45 (I-490 W) for the Ridge Road hotels, the Greece Canal Park, and the lakeshore; and will take exit 45 (I-390 N) for the airport hotels.

Visitors arriving from the west on I-90 will take exit 47 (I-490 W) to  all venues.

Visitors arriving from the south on I-390 will continue on I-390 N to all venues.

Flight Information

Rochester is served by the Greater Rochester International Airport.  Allegiant, American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest and United all fly regular routes into Rochester.  The airport code is ROC.

Amtrak and Greyhound

Rochester is served by Amtrak lines Empire Service (NYC – Albany – ROC – Buffalo) two-three times daily, Lake Shore Limited (Boston or NYC – Albany – ROC – Chicago) once daily, and Maple Leaf (Washington DC – NYC – Albany – ROC – Buffalo – Toronto) once daily.

Greyhound serves Rochester with several runs daily from the east, west and south.

Ground Transportation

Uber and Lyft operate in Rochester, and there are a variety of local taxi companies. Rental cars are available onsite at the airport.
